Track Intelligence
The Marina Bay Street Circuit is a grueling, bumpy test of absolute concentration and physical endurance. It features a relentless multitude of 90-degree corners requiring immense traction and a suspension setup biased heavily toward mechanical grip and maximum downforce. The constant stop-and-go nature of the layout gives drivers almost zero time to rest and breathe over the course of a race.
Because of the extreme heat and constant heavy acceleration zones out of slow corners, managing severe rear-tire degradation is the key to race pace here. Drivers must utilize every single inch of the track, often brushing the concrete barriers on corner exit to widen the radius and carry maximum speed down the short, floodlit avenues.
