Bridgehampton
Tame the sandy dunes and terrifying high-speed sweepers of this lost American classic.
Track Intelligence
Bridgehampton Race Circuit is an iconic, historic American track built directly into natural sandy terrain, resulting in frighteningly fast, sweeping corners that undulate over the dunes. The track surface is famously abrasive and bumpy, aggressively eating through tires over the course of a stint. It requires a stiff aerodynamic setup to survive the high-speed sections, but enough mechanical compliance to handle the rough tarmac.
Drivers must constantly manage severe mid-corner understeer caused by the extreme speeds, feathering the throttle to keep the nose tucked in. Dropping even a single wheel off the tarmac is disastrous, as the deep sand traps lining the circuit will instantly dig into the wheels and flip the car.
