Snetterton
Navigate the painfully slow hairpins and long straights of this flat British airfield circuit.
Track Intelligence
Snetterton features a highly punishing, stop-and-go layout built on a flat, former WWII airfield. It blends extremely long, power-hungry straights (like the Bentley Straight) with violently tight, agonizingly slow-speed corners like the Montreal and Agostini hairpins. This extreme contrast forces a highly difficult setup compromise between top speed and low-speed traction.
To be successful here, the traditional sweeping driving style must be abandoned. The track demands a highly disciplined "V-style" cornering technique, heavily prioritizing late, deep braking to get the car rotated, followed by extremely early throttle application to maximize acceleration and exit speed onto the ensuing long straights.
