Sebring
Endure the punishing, spine-rattling concrete bumps of this historic WWII airfield.
Track Intelligence
Sebring International Raceway is world-famous for one singular, punishing feature: the brutal, chassis-destroying bumps. Built directly onto an old WWII concrete airfield, the constantly changing surfaces from smooth asphalt to violently uneven concrete slabs severely and unpredictably disrupt the car's balance mid-corner.
The infamous Sunset Bend, the final sweeping corner, is notoriously bumpy, off-camber, and exceptionally difficult to navigate cleanly, especially in the dead of night with limited visibility. A rugged, highly compliant damper setup is absolutely vital not just for speed, but simply to keep the tires in contact with the ground and prevent the car from rattling to pieces over a grueling endurance race.
