Montreal Circuit
Ride the kerbs and dodge the Wall of Champions on Île Notre-Dame.
Track Intelligence
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a high-speed, heavily stop-and-go track situated on a man-made island. Because it essentially links long straights with heavy traction zones, it requires a low-downforce setup. However, it is incredibly hard on the braking system, requiring intense management of brake temperatures and wear rates to survive a full race distance without severe fade.
To be genuinely fast here, drivers must aggressively mount the heavy, high kerbs of the chicanes, launching the car to cut the physical distance of the corner. The final chicane is the ultimate test of nerve, leading directly into the unforgiving concrete "Wall of Champions," demanding millimeter-perfect precision on exit while on the absolute limit of traction.
